Our Downstairs space has had a bit of a make-over, we’re how hosting an exhibition by artist Colin McNaughton called Text Paintings and Other Stuff which is on display here until 11 April.

Last night we opened a new show Downstairs at Mother, ‘Hackney - A Tale of Two Cities’ is London-based photographer Zed Nelson’s exploration of the area he lives in.

Tomorrow night we open our second Downstairs at Mother exhibition (and book signing) of the year with Tim Barber’s selection from his new book “Untitled Photographs”.

This Thursday, Downstairs at Mother will be holding the launch of the Top Deck exhibition and newspaper by photographers James Pearson-Howes and Will Robson-Scott.
