Peter Robertson - Creative
Peter was raised a good honest Christian boy in New Zealand. His mother always imagined he’d end up in the church, which he sort of did. Spreading the word of FMCGs is a little like spreading the word of Jesus. His first job was at Saatchi & Saatchi Auckland, followed by Saatchi & Saatchi Wellington. He did pretty well at both places working on a number of different advertising campaigns. A few that his mother was proud of - Anchor Dairy, Television New Zealand, Women’s Refuge, Telecom and a few that she pretended not to see - NZ Lotteries, Lion Breweries and NZ Wines and Spirits for instance.
In 2001, the spirit that moved Peter, moved him to London and he is continuing his evangelical work there. His days are primarily filled with creative directing the Boots account, but over the years he’s worked on Diet Coke, Castello, Orange, UKTV and Diageo. They don’t really mean anything to his family back home, but he assures them that they’re all good, honest wholesome brands his Mum would approve of.
