The Singing Alphabet app from the Ministry of Letters

The Singing Alphabet app from the Ministry of Letters

There’s very exciting news in the world of apps, The Ministry of Letters very first smartphone app has launched, which brings all the characters from the Operation Alphabet book to life.

In the app, the 26 members of the Special Alphabet Squad are shown waiting on stage, ready to perform, when children touch one of the letters, it sings its ‘phonetic’ sound. By continuing to press the characters, simple words can be created at the bottom of the screen and the child becomes a composer as the music builds up.

The app’s out now, and you can download it from the app store here, or by searching for ‘The Singing Alphabet’ on iTunes.
