Mother moved to Redchurch Street eight years ago. Then there was just the mosque, the antiques shop, a couple of strip clubs and artists for neighbours. It’s changed a little bit since then, and the community has grown. So for our newest (temporary) neighbours Hackney House; the exhibition and conference space for visitors to the Olympics; we created Spitting Distance, the first in a series of periodicals to introduce the people who make our local community so interesting.
