Operation Alphabet

Today’s a very special day here at Mother, because it's the day that Operation Alphabet is published. It’s a must have book for anyone with children learning to read, and what makes it even more special is that it’s been written by Mother’s very own Al MacCuish and Art Directed by our head of design Jim Bletsas.

Operation Alphabet chronicles the adventures of a top secret government department – the Ministry of Letters. They live inside a special little red postbox in London, close to Big Ben and it’s here that all the words in the world. In Operation Alphabet we learn how the Ministry of Letter’s Special Alphabet Service (S.A.S) help the young Charlie Foxtrot to pass his tests at school.

The book’s bursting with beautiful illustrations done by Barcelona-based Luciano Lozano, and it’s the first in the series of the Ministry of Letters books.
