Mother at the Trampery - The Enquirer

Mother at the Trampery - The Enquirer

This month Mother finds itself listed as a theatre venue. To launch Mother At The Trampery, their new shared work space for tech start-ups, we invited the National Theatre of Scotland and London Review of Books to put on their landmark production of The Enquirer in a part of our former Clerkenwell offices.

The play, which finished on Sunday, was a promenade production that attempts to get to grips with the current ‘crisis’ in UK journalism. Based upon interviews conducted with over 50 leading figures in the British newspaper industry, it is an attempt at ‘rapid response’ to the dramatic events that have rocked our media in the last year. Unsurprisingly, it sold out every night.
