Bring on the Summer - Tavolone on 30th May

Bring on the Summer - Tavolone on 30th May

Summer seems to have disappeared, but at Tavolone, our monthly pop-up dining club hosted Downstairs at Mother is determined not to miss out so they’re making it themselves.

On the 30th of May, Tavolone will transport you on a gastronomical voyage from Sicilia to Liguria. It’s going to be a celebration of homemade, farm fresh Italian foods. They’re getting up early in the morning to make homemade pasta and a variety of pestos; journeying to New Covent garden market to get the freshest tomatoes and herbs and even flying some fresh Mozarella in that morning from Rome.

They’ll provide the atmosphere and the food of summer no matter what the forecasts say. All you have to do is believe!

Everything’s kicking off at 7pm with a nice aperitif then enjoy dinner, drink and dessert.

To see this month’s menu, take a peek at the Tavolone website here: http://www.tavolone.com
And to book your place, at the big table, you can do so on their Eventbrite page. Places are limited to 50.

The app was made using the letter characters already made popular by The Ministry of Letters’ first storybook, “Operation Alphabet” and aimed to help children with their phonics, by getting them familiar with the sounds of the alphabet through musical play.

  • Sign up for a very special MiniBar

Summer has finally arrived and on the 13th of June we will have a very special MiniBar with Qualcomm and Nokia. If you are developer, agency or run a start up this one is for you.

  • Something for the Weekend - The Nano issue

Coined little over 20 years ago, the term ‘nano’ has exponentially grown in scientific publications and research, with its potential for revolutionary applications ranging far and wide. Its connotations have even permeated spurious marketing nomenclature with the success of products such the ipod ‘nano’. A true nanometer however, strictly speaking, is 1 billionth of a millimeter. Very small indeed...
