We managed to prise the social media passwords and smartphones away from five self-acclaimed internet addicts for Internet Week 2013, all in the name of science (sort of). In true Theroux style, internet addiction was explored in a documentary which followed our human guinea pigs, including our own Katie Mackay, for a week without the internet.
