Eurostar “Somers Town”

Mother London wrote a screenplay entitled ‘Somers Town’ around the emotions evoked by Eurostar, when tasked with creating a ‘legacy’ and positioning Eurostar as THE definitive high-speed cross-channel train service. The approach secured Shane Meadows as the director and the film went on to win Best British Film at Edinburgh, picked up the Best Actor’s award at Tribeca and was a UK box office hit. The film has since gained International distribution via the BBC and Eurostar’s competitor, BA! Find out more here.
