Open Defecation

We worked with the United Nations to launch a new global campaign to end Open Defecation – a key indicator of poverty and a major factor in the spread of disease. Open Defecation is shrouded in silence. The campaign is about breaking that silence, allowing people to learn about the issue and discuss the subject openly. To do so, we created a website, launch speech, and a global communications toolkit.
